Daudi Matsiko is a British-Ugandan singer-songwriter from Nottingham, known for his modern approach to folk music. He has released the EPs "A Brief Introduction to Failure" and "The Lingering Effects of Disconnection," as well as his debut album "The King of Misery." Matsiko has collaborated with artists such as Keaton Henson, GoGo Penguin, and Portico Quartet, and participated in the Red Bull Music Academy in Montreal in 2016. His music is characterized by melancholic guitar style and sincere lyrics.
