Dave Bartholomew was an American musician, bandleader, composer, arranger, and producer who played a pivotal role in New Orleans music during the latter half of the 20th century. As a trumpeter, he was active in various genres including rhythm and blues, big band, swing, rock and roll, and Dixieland. Together with Fats Domino, he co-wrote over 40 hits for Imperial Records, including "Ain't That a Shame". His other notable compositions include "I Hear You Knocking", "Blue Monday", and "I'm Walkin'". He was inducted into the Songwriters Hall of Fame, the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, and the Louisiana Music Hall of Fame. The products available from the artist Dave Bartholomew include CDs.
