Dave Gisler Trio is a Swiss jazz ensemble led by guitarist Dave Gisler. Since 2017, he has collaborated with bassist Raffaele Bossard and drummer Lionel Friedli. The trio is known for its multi-layered and often floating guitar sounds that can build into a wall of sound. After collaborations with Chicago trumpeter Jaimie Branch and jazz saxophonist David Murray, the trio decided to continue without guests, focusing on the essence and energy of their distinctive sound. Their album "The Flying Mega Doghouse" was recorded live in May 2025 and released in October 2025.
