Dave Matthews Band is an American rock band formed in 1991 in Charlottesville, Virginia. The group consists of Dave Matthews (vocals, guitar), Carter Beauford (drums), Stefan Lessard (bass guitar), Tim Reynolds (lead guitar), Rashawn Ross (trumpet), Jeff Coffin (saxophone), and Buddy Strong (keyboards). Their 1994 debut album, "Under the Table and Dreaming," achieved six-time platinum certification. The band is renowned for their live performances and improvisational style.
