David Bowie and Mick Jagger, two iconic British musicians, collaborated in 1985 on a cover version of Martha and the Vandellas' "Dancing in the Street." This rendition was recorded and filmed in a single day and released to support the Live Aid charity event. The single topped the UK charts and reached number seven in the US. In 2025, to mark the 40th anniversary, a limited edition white vinyl featuring remastered versions of the song was released. Thirty percent of the sales were donated to the Band Aid Charitable Trust.
