'Star People' is a 1983 album by legendary jazz trumpeter and composer Miles Davis, showcasing his innovative approach to jazz fusion. This album marks the debut of electric guitarist John Scofield, recommended by saxophonist Bill Evans, and is the last produced by longtime collaborator Teo Macero. Bassist Marcus Miller plays on five tracks, with electric guitarist Mike Stern, drummer Al Foster, and percussionist Mino Cinelu completing the rhythm section.
