David Murray Latin Big Band is a musical project by American saxophonist David Murray, blending jazz with Afro-Cuban rhythms. The album "Now Is Another Time" was recorded between 2001 and 2002 in New York City and released in 2003 under the Justin Time label. It features seven tracks, all composed by Murray, and showcases collaboration with over 30 musicians, including Hamiet Bluiett, Hugh Ragin, and Craig Harris. The album was recorded at Sound On Sound Studio in New York and produced by Valérie Malot and David Murray.
