David Orlowsky is a German clarinetist renowned for blending classical music with jazz and world music. In 1997, he founded the David Orlowsky Trio, acclaimed for innovative klezmer interpretations. The trio released several albums, including "Noema" (2007) and "Klezmer Kings - A Tribute" (2014). After disbanding in 2019, Orlowsky pursued a solo career, releasing "Petrichor" in 2024 under Warner Classics. This album features 11 tracks inspired by various scents and was recorded with guitarist Daniel Stelter, percussionist Tommy Baldu, and keyboardist Lillo Scrimali.
