David & The Circumstances is the project of Dutch singer-songwriter David Groeneweg. From 2008 to 2013, he was the frontman of the indie rock band The Circumstances. In 2013, he embarked on a solo career under the name David & The Circumstances. In 2015, he released his debut album, "This Part of Me," under the Elevate Records label, receiving positive reviews in the Netherlands, Belgium, and Italy. Groeneweg's music is influenced by artists such as Radiohead, Bright Eyes, and Bob Dylan. In 2016, he moved to London, where he performed at various venues, including Ronnie Scott's and Notting Hill Arts Club.
