De Dijk was a Dutch rock band formed in 1981 in Amsterdam by brothers Huub and Hans van der Lubbe and friend Daniel Derks. Their music combined elements of rock, soul, and rhythm & blues, with lyrics exclusively in Dutch. Notable albums include "Niemand in de stad" (1989), "De Blauwe Schuit" (1994), and "Hold On Tight" (2010), a collaboration with Solomon Burke. The band received several awards, including the Zilveren Harp in 1987 and the Gouden Harp in 1993. After 41 years of activity, they concluded their career in December 2022.
