Death Angel is an American thrash metal band from Daly City, California, formed in 1982. The band is known for their energetic performances and contributed to the development of the San Francisco thrash metal scene. Their most notable albums include "The Ultra-Violence" (1987), "Frolic Through the Park" (1988), and "Act III" (1990). After a hiatus in the 1990s, they returned with "The Art of Dying" in 2004. Their music is characterized by fast guitar riffs and intense drumming. The band was nominated for a Grammy Award for the song "Humanicide" from the 2019 album of the same name.
