Death Row Records is an American record label founded in 1991 by The D.O.C., Dr. Dre, Suge Knight, and Dick Griffey. The label gained prominence by releasing multi-platinum hip-hop albums from artists such as Dr. Dre (The Chronic), Snoop Dogg (Doggystyle), and 2Pac (All Eyez on Me) during the 1990s. In 2022, Snoop Dogg acquired Death Row Records, and in 2023, he announced a new publishing venture under the Death Row umbrella, representing many songwriters from the Death Row family.
