Del Amitri is a Scottish alternative rock band formed in Glasgow in 1980. Their second album, "Waking Hours" (1989), reached number 6 on the UK Albums Chart and featured the hit "Nothing Ever Happens," which peaked at number 11 on the UK Singles Chart. Their third album, "Change Everything" (1992), reached number 2 on the UK Albums Chart. The band is known for their alternative rock and pop rock sound.
