Der Plan is a German electronic music band formed in 1979 in Düsseldorf by Moritz Reichelt, Kai Horn, and Frank Fenstermacher. The band is considered one of the pioneers of Neue Deutsche Welle. Their debut album, "Geri Reig," was released in 1980, followed by "Normalette Surprise" in 1981. Throughout their career, they released several other albums, including "Die Peitsche des Lebens" and "Unkapitulierbar." Their music combines elements of electronic, synthpop, and experimental genres. The band disbanded in 1993 but reunited in 2003 and continues to create and perform.
