Descendents is an American punk rock band formed in 1977 in Manhattan Beach, California. Originally consisting of guitarist Frank Navetta, bassist Tony Lombardo, and drummer Bill Stevenson, they were joined by vocalist Milo Aukerman in 1979, solidifying their classic lineup. Their 1982 debut album, "Milo Goes to College," is considered a seminal work in the melodic hardcore genre.
