empty cell Detective
Detective was an American rock band formed in 1976. The group consisted of vocalist Michael Des Barres, guitarist Michael Monarch (formerly of Steppenwolf), bassist Bobby Pickett, keyboardist Tony Kaye (formerly of Yes), and drummer Jon Hyde. They released two studio albums: "Detective" and "It Takes One to Know One", both in 1977 under Swan Song Records. Their music was influenced by blues rock and hard rock, often drawing comparisons to bands like Led Zeppelin and Bad Company. Despite their talent and strong lineup, the band disbanded in 1979.
