Dexys, originally known as Dexys Midnight Runners, is an English pop and soul band formed in 1978 in Birmingham by Kevin Rowland and Kevin Archer. Their debut album, "Searching for the Young Soul Rebels" (1980), featured the hit "Geno". They achieved their greatest success with the album "Too-Rye-Ay" (1982), which included the single "Come On Eileen". After several lineup changes and hiatuses, the band returned with "One Day I'm Going to Soar" in 2012 and "The Feminine Divine" in 2023. Their music blends elements of pop, rock, and soul.
