Diego Cannizzaro is an Italian organist and musicologist who graduated in Italian literature from the University of Palermo and in piano from the "Vincenzo Bellini" Conservatory in Palermo. He later earned a Ph.D. in "History and Analysis of Musical Cultures" from the University "La Sapienza" in Rome. Cannizzaro has served as a guest professor at conservatories in Madrid and St. Petersburg. He has participated in significant international organ festivals across Europe and the USA and has recorded several CDs, including monographs on the organ works of Filippo Capocci and Giovanni Salvatore.
