Disco Inferno was an English experimental rock band active in the 1990s. Originally a trio from Essex, the band became known for their innovative use of digital sampling combined with traditional rock instruments. Albums like "D. I. Go Pop" (1994) and "Technicolour" (1996) are considered seminal works in the post-rock genre. Despite critical acclaim during their active years, they achieved limited commercial success. After disbanding in 1995, members pursued various musical projects, with their influence on experimental music enduring to this day.
