Dolorian is a Finnish doom metal band from Oulu, known for their ambient blackened doom metal style. The band was founded in 1997 as a duo consisting of Anti Ittna Haapapuro and Ari Kukkohovi. Their debut album, "When All the Laughter Has Gone," was released in 1999 and is considered an example of blackened doom metal. This was followed by "Dolorian" in 2001 and "Voidwards" in 2006, each developing their unique sound. The band has been inactive since 2006, with members pursuing other musical projects.
