Dom Salvador, born Salvador da Silva Filho, is a Brazilian pianist and composer noted for his pioneering role in the bossa nova movement. He began his career as a young jazz musician in Rio de Janeiro, collaborating with prominent artists like Elis Regina. His project Rio 65 Trio was a notable contribution to the Brazilian jazz and funk scene, showcasing his unique piano playing style.
