Domenico Nordio is an Italian violinist born in Venice in 1971. He studied under Corrado Romano and Michèle Auclair. At 16, he won the "Viotti" International Competition in Vercelli, with Yehudi Menuhin as jury president. Subsequently, he earned accolades at the "Thibaud" competition in Paris, "Sigall" in Viña del Mar, and "Francescatti" in Marseille. In 1988, he secured the Eurovision Grand Prix, catapulting him to international fame. Nordio has performed in prestigious venues such as Carnegie Hall in New York, Salle Pleyel in Paris, and Teatro alla Scala in Milan, collaborating with orchestras like the London Symphony and the National Orchestra of France.
