Dominik Hoyer is a German drummer, composer, and educator born in 1994 in Rheinfelden, near the Swiss border. He began his musical career at a young age, inspired by his grandfather, an amateur drummer. Hoyer studied jazz at Jazzcampus Basel, earning a Bachelor of Arts in 2017 and a Master's in Music Pedagogy in 2019. His debut album, "Nachtblau," released in 2022, features exclusively his own compositions focusing on the emotional side of jazz. The album was released under the Double Moon Records label.
