Donna Agrell is a Swedish bassoonist specializing in historical instruments. In 2015, she released the album "A Bassoon in Stockholm...", collaborating with colleagues from the Orchestra of the Eighteenth Century and pianist Ronald Brautigam. The album features works by Franz Berwald and Édouard Du Puy, originally composed for 19th-century bassoonist Frans Preumayr. Agrell performs on a rare Grenser & Wiesner bassoon from around 1820, originally delivered to Stockholm. The recording took place in January 2015 at the Doopgezinde Kerk in Haarlem, Netherlands.
