Dr. John, born Malcolm John Rebennack Jr., was an American singer, songwriter, and multi-instrumentalist known for his fusion of blues, psychedelic rock, jazz funk, and traditional New Orleans music. He began his career in the early 1960s and gained fame with his 1968 debut album "Gris-Gris." Over his career, he released numerous notable albums, including "The Sun, Moon & Herbs" and "In The Right Place," from which his most famous hit "Right Place Wrong Time" was derived.
