Dzjenghis Khan was a psychedelic/garage rock band formed in San Francisco in the 2000s. The group consisted of Jesse Thompson (drums, vocals), Lane Rider (guitar), and Carson Binks (bass). In 2007, they released their self-titled debut album under the Dutch label Motorwolf, followed by "Hey You!" in 2009. Their music was characterized by a raw, fuzzy sound with influences from stoner and acid rock. The band was known for their energetic live performances and toured across North America and Europe, often alongside the band Orange Sunshine. After their last known performance in 2010, the band disbanded.
