Ed Rush & Optical is a British drum and bass duo consisting of Ben Settle (Ed Rush) and Matt Quinn (Optical). In 1998, they released their debut album "Wormhole," which is considered one of the most significant albums in the drum and bass genre. Their music is known for aggressive styles such as techstep and neurofunk. Together, they founded the label Virus Recordings, which releases their own recordings as well as those of other drum and bass artists.
