Eddie Kendricks was an American singer and songwriter, renowned for his distinctive falsetto singing style. He co-founded The Temptations and served as one of their lead singers from 1961 to 1971. During this period, he led vocals on hits like "The Way You Do the Things You Do" and "Just My Imagination (Running Away with Me)". After departing the group in 1971, Kendricks embarked on a successful solo career, with his debut album "All By Myself" featuring tracks such as "Let's Go Back to Day One" and "Can I". His major solo hits include "Keep On Truckin'" and "Boogie Down". In 1989, Kendricks was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame as a member of The Temptations.
