Elbow is a British rock band formed in 1990 in Bury, Greater Manchester. The members are Guy Garvey (vocals, guitar), Craig Potter (keyboards, piano, backing vocals), Mark Potter (guitar, backing vocals), Pete Turner (bass guitar, backing vocals), and Alex Reeves (drums, percussion). The band has released ten studio albums, including "Asleep in the Back" (2001), "The Seldom Seen Kid" (2008), and "Audio Vertigo" (2024). In 2008, they won the Mercury Music Prize for "The Seldom Seen Kid" and in 2009, the Brit Award for Best British Group. Their musical style encompasses alternative rock, art rock, and post-Britpop.
