Electric Guest is an American indie pop band formed in Los Angeles in 2011. The group consists of vocalist Asa Taccone and drummer Matthew Compton. Their debut album, "Mondo," was released in 2012 and featured the single "This Head I Hold." They followed up with "Plural" in 2017 and "Kin" in 2019. Their music blends elements of indie pop, alternative pop, and synthpop. The band collaborated with producer Danger Mouse on their debut album. Electric Guest is known for their energetic live performances and unique sound that fuses various musical styles.
