Electric Tears is a Dutch band from Hoorn, founded in 2011 by Niels de Wit after leaving the band Johan. Along with Bas de Vries and Els van Tol, they formed a trio focusing on melodic rock. In 2013, they performed at the Noorderslag festival, leading to a recording contract with Excelsior Recordings. Their debut album, "Dazzling Highs to Crushing Lows," was recorded in 2015 at Frans Hagenaars' studio and features 12 tracks, including "Bloodshed Eyes" and "Forget Tomorrow."
