Elisabeth-Maria Wachutka is a German soprano who studied at the Richard Strauss Conservatory and the University of Music and Performing Arts in Munich. Her teachers included Lorenz Fehenberger and Josef Metternich. She attended master classes with Erika Köth and Erik Werba and received scholarships from the Walter Kaminsky Foundation, the Richard Wagner Society, and the Richard Wagner Foundation. Her repertoire includes roles such as Elsa, Elisabeth, Senta, Isolde, and Brünnhilde in Richard Wagner's operas, as well as the Empress, Ariadne, Salome, Marschallin, Chrysothemis, and Elektra in Richard Strauss's works. She has performed at major opera houses including the Vienna State Opera, San Francisco Opera, Semperoper in Dresden, Deutsche Oper Berlin, Teatro San Carlo in Naples, Teatro Giuseppe Verdi in Trieste, and Teatro Nacional de São Carlos in Lisbon.
