Elkka, born Emma Kirby in Cardiff, Wales, is a producer, vocalist, and DJ. She began her career as a songwriter and singer before transitioning to electronic music production. In 2016, she founded her own label, femme culture, which supports women in the arts and organizes the annual HeForShe compilation in aid of UN Women. In 2021, she was awarded the Essential Mix of the Year by BBC Radio 1. Her debut album, "Prism of Pleasure," was released in June 2024 under Ninja Tune.
