Emma Baiguera is an Italian guitarist who earned her master's degree from the Giuseppe Verdi Conservatory in Milan in 2023. In 2024, she released the album "Ladies of the Six Strings: Women's Guitar Music Perspectives in the 20th Century" under the Da Vinci Classics label. This project showcases works by four female composers: Annette Kruisbrink, Fernande Peyrot, Betty Roe, and Beatrice Campodonico. The album includes pieces such as Kruisbrink's "Homenaje a Andrés Segovia" and Peyrot's "Thème et Variations," both dedicated to the renowned guitarist Andrés Segovia. Baiguera collaborated closely with Kruisbrink and Campodonico in the creation of these works.
