Engineers is a British shoegaze/dream pop band formed in London in 2003. The original lineup consisted of Mark Peters, Simon Phipps, Dan MacBean, and Andrew Sweeney. Their debut album, "Engineers," was released in 2005 and included the singles "Forgiveness" and "Home." In 2009, they released "Three Fact Fader," followed by "In Praise of More" in 2010. Their music is characterized as "hazy, ethereal, and atmospheric," with influences cited from The Beach Boys, Brian Eno, Cocteau Twins, Spiritualized, and Pink Floyd.
