Ensemble Meridiana is a baroque ensemble founded in 2006 in Basel, Switzerland. The members hail from four different countries and met during their studies at the Schola Cantorum Basiliensis. The ensemble has won first prizes at three international competitions: in Magdeburg, York, and Göttingen. Their discography includes the albums "Tastes of Europe" released by Linn Records and "Les Voyages de l'Amour" released by Chandos Records. Ensemble Meridiana specializes in performing baroque music on copies of original instruments and regularly performs at international festivals.
