Eric Alexander is an American tenor saxophonist known for his warm tone and rich melodic and harmonic imagination. After placing second in the 1991 Thelonious Monk International Saxophone Competition, he embarked on a professional career, collaborating with organ trios in Chicago and debuting on a recording with Charles Earland. In 1992, he released his first album as a leader, "Straight Up." Throughout his career, he has released over 60 albums and is a member of the group One For All. His latest album, "Timing Is Everything," was released in 2024.
