Eric Schneider is a German pianist born in 1963 in Bergisches Land. He studied piano and mathematics at the Hochschule für Musik in Cologne. After competition successes and solo performances, he focused on song interpretation, studying with Hartmut Höll and conducting with Rolf Reuter. He collaborated with singers such as Christiane Oelze, Christine Schäfer, and Matthias Goerne. In 2009, he was appointed as a lecturer for song repertoire at the Universität der Künste in Berlin.
