Erik Leuthäuser is a German jazz singer and composer, born in 1996 in Freital. His music blends jazz and experimental pop, often incorporating the German language. In 2018, he released the album "Wünschen" under MPS Records, collaborating with musicians like Kurt Rosenwinkel and Joey Baron. In April 2024, he released the concept album "Sucht" under Fun in the Church, addressing themes of addiction. Leuthäuser is also a co-founder of Cheer Cheer, the first queer community in the German jazz scene, which received a special award at the German Jazz Prize in 2023.
