Ernest Troost is an American composer and musician known for his work on film and television soundtracks. He studied jazz guitar and classical music at Berklee College of Music. Notable works include scores for "Tremors" and "One Man's Hero". In 1996, he won a Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Music Composition for "The Canterville Ghost". Beyond film scores, he has released several folk-blues albums, including "All the Boats Are Gonna Rise" (2004) and "Resurrection Blues" (2009).
