Eternal Dirge is a German death metal band formed in 1986 in Marl, North Rhine-Westphalia. The band released two studio albums: "Morbus Ascendit" in 1992 and "Khaos Magick" in 1996. Their music combines elements of death metal and thrash metal with progressive influences. Lyrics address themes such as socio-political issues, chaos-magick, and the works of H. P. Lovecraft.
