Eternal Solstice is a Dutch death metal band formed in 1989. Their debut album, "The Wish Is Father to the Thought," was released in 1994, followed by "Horrible Within" in 1995 and "Demonic Fertilizer" in 1997. After a hiatus, they released "Remnants of Immortality" in 2015. The band is known for their old-school death metal style featuring thrash riffs and deep growl vocals. They recorded at Excess Studios in Rotterdam under producer Hans Pieters. Their lyrics often explore themes of death and religion.
