EXO is a South Korean-Chinese boy band formed in Seoul in 2011 by SM Entertainment. The group debuted in 2012 with twelve members divided into two sub-groups: EXO-K and EXO-M, performing in Korean and Mandarin respectively. After the departure of three members in 2014 and 2015, the group continued as a nine-member ensemble. EXO is known for hits like "Growl," "Call Me Baby," and "Love Me Right." Their 2013 album "XOXO" sold over one million copies, making them the first Korean artists in 12 years to achieve this milestone.
