Extince, born Peter Kops, is a Dutch rapper from Oosterhout. He is considered one of the pioneers of Dutch hip-hop. In 1995, he achieved success with the track "Spraakwater," which became the first Dutch-language rap hit in the Dutch charts. His debut album, "Binnenlandse Funk," released in 1998, features the popular track "Viervoeters." He subsequently released albums "Vitamine E" (2001), "2e Jeugd" (2004), and "KERMIS" (2019). Extince is known for collaborations with artists like Brainpower and Lange Frans. In 2018, he received the Edison Oeuvre Award for his contributions to Dutch music.
