Fabio Luisi is an Italian conductor renowned for his work with leading orchestras worldwide. He has served as principal conductor of the Vienna Symphony Orchestra and the Metropolitan Opera in New York. Currently, he is the music director of the Dallas Symphony Orchestra and principal conductor of the Danish National Symphony Orchestra. His recording of Wagner's "Der Ring des Nibelungen" earned a Grammy Award for Best Opera Recording in 2013.
