Fairyland is a French symphonic power metal band founded in 1998 by keyboardist Philippe Giordana and bassist/drummer Willdric Lievin. Their debut album, "Of Wars in Osyrhia," was released in 2003 and received acclaim for its epic and symphonic arrangements. This was followed by "The Fall of an Empire" (2006), "Score to a New Beginning" (2009), and "Osyrhianta" (2020). The band underwent several lineup changes, with Giordana remaining the primary composer until his death in 2022.
