Johann "Hans" Hölzel, known as Falco, was an Austrian singer and musician born on February 19, 1957, in Vienna. He gained fame with hits like "Der Kommissar" (1981) and "Rock Me Amadeus" (1985), the latter reaching number one on the U.S. Billboard Hot 100. Falco was active in genres such as new wave, rock, pop, and hip-hop. During his career, he collaborated with producers Rob and Ferdi Bolland.
