Fall of Serenity is a German melodic death metal band formed in 1998 in Thuringia and Saxony. After disbanding in 2009, they returned in 2024 with the album "Open Wide, O Hell," released on March 22, 2024, under Lifeforce Records. This album blends elements of melodic death metal and black metal, expanding their musical range. Their previous notable albums include "The Crossfire" (2007) and "Bloodred Salvation" (2006). The band is known for their collaboration with Heaven Shall Burn on a 1999 split album. The current lineup consists of John Gahlert (vocals), Eddy Langner (guitar), Ferdinand Rewicki (guitar), Eik Halle (bass guitar), and Werner Riedl (drums).
