Fatal Portrait is a black metal band from Santander, Spain, active since 1998. Their music blends aggression, melody, and structures inspired by the Scandinavian scene of the 1990s. After releasing "Rapture Among the Idols" (1999) and "An Elusive Instinct of Lascivia" (2001), they went silent following their 2006 album "Adventum". In 2025, they returned with "An Elusive Instinct of Lascivia – REDVX", a modern reinterpretation of their debut with new arrangements and production that preserves the original darkness while enhancing emotional intensity. The album features artwork by Joan Llopis Doménech and a new logo by Christophe Szpajdel.
