Fats Waller was an American jazz pianist, organist, composer, and singer, known for his innovations in the Harlem stride style. His best-known compositions include "Ain't Misbehavin'" and "Honeysuckle Rose". Throughout his career, he recorded over 450 songs and collaborated with lyricist Andy Razaf. Waller was the first jazz musician to master the organ and appeared in several films, including "Stormy Weather" in 1943. He died of pneumonia at the age of 39.
